Don't take away my Senator, darn it!

How about Phil Bredesen? Mayor of Nashville, Governor of Tennessee, with a total of fourteen years of executive experience so far.

We have a Republican Lt. Gov. We need Phil as Gov.

I reckon Clark is the way to go, Webb would be a great choice but a ticket that have only one combined Senate term under them is a football waiting to be kicked. Clark has the military experience, the southern appeal and both men are sufficiently simpatico to kick some electoral ass in November, especially if the prevailing winds are against Washington and its ways by then.

Alternatively, Edwards would not be a bad choice at all.
