Obama still stands a good chance of improving here, I think.

I'm surprised her lead is still so huge here.  The fact that Clinton is pulling more than 50% is impressive.  Although I think its important to note that it has shrunk significantly from a month ago and no one is really campaigning here.

The contest doesn't matter for Democrats anyway.

When it's that big of a lead, you're allowed to round.

If they're all still on teh ballot it could matter a little even though there are no delegates.

Of course it matters. If Clinton wins a state by 20%, when Obama is on the ballot, that matters a lot. It could kill whatever momentum Obama has from Nevada and South Carolina.

I really don't expect the media to pay much attention to it.

A win by Obama in NV and SC would probably make this really close.

The Republican contest is on the same day...the news media will report on it while they're talking about the Republicans...though no-one should be able to spin it too much.

I agree.  I think its safe to say the media will largely ignore Michigan or at least put a big enough asterisk on it so that most people won't care about it too much.  Florida is going to be different though.  Clinton and Obama are both on the ballot and both Hispanics and blacks make up a significant chunk of the population.  Plus, Florida is a swing state so the media is going to be all over it even if there are no delegates at stake.  They'll likely be trying to predict how the candidates will do in the GE here based on the primary results.
