I think this one is supposed to last two hours.

I am looking for Obama to attack Clinton more on the war.  I look for Obama to point out Wal-Mart.  The economy will undoubtedly be a big issue, and probably the biggest issue.  I look for them to play a quick game of "My endorsements are bigger than your endorsements" like Romney and McCain played last night early.  I look for Clinton to continue to hammer Obama on his votes in the Illinois legislature.  I also look for both candidates to try to court the Edwards supporters and those Kucinich supporters who haven't gone over to Obama, yet.  I look for a bunch of hispanic and latino issues to be discussed tonight.  I also look for clarity on how they will handle the California wildfire damage as well as other national disasters, such as Hurricanes Katrina and Rita from 2005.

Overall, I think Obama will win the debate tonight and gain even more momentum heading into Super Tuesday and the states that vote later on in February.  He already has the momentum on his side, but he shouldn't take it for granted, and he won't.

I'm going to start the new "Civilimeter".  100% is totally civil -- 0% totally not-civil.

So far, 100%.

Why does the audience clap at absolutely everything?

This is history-in-the-making, and plus they paid $1000 to attend.

As long as this remains a policy debate and not a personal debate, the civilimeter will stay above 80%.

Are they ever going to talk about anything other than health care?

Good question.

Mitt Romney's head probably just exploded over that previous discussion.

Thats impossible.  His hair is too stiff.

Hopefully his campaign will do the same thing.

Or it ignited in flames from all the hairspray he uses.

Good response by Obama.

It could only explode if he ran out of hair spray.
