No, he needs to come across as both presidential and substantive.
Agreed. He needs to stay on message. Every second he doesnt sound like he did in Columbia is a second lost.

Wolf turned on Hillary. Unexpected I must say.
Youre not going to hear me complaining. These debates arent our strong point, so any little help is help we should take, especialy when its hilarious!

Another break?  Sheesh, so much for the whole 90 minute thing.
If it keeps up like this, we may as well let them go on. Besides, I imagine people wont stay tuned in much longer, as we are headed towards 10 on a workday.

Dumb question. What does the President have to do with any of this? Who cares?
I dont mind. Lets just let the clock run out on this day and call it a victory, gang.

Back-to-back debates again on February 27 and 28 in Ohio (March 4 state).
What the hell? Are they on CNN? And whats the point, really? With the way these things seem to be trending, most ofthe ones we've had have been pointless....can you imagine the usefullness of the second one? Itll be lower on the Neilson Ratings than "Dr. Ruth's Hands-On Demonstrations". Angry

My analysis - Obama wins, but not by a large margin. On the policy discussions he pretty much tied with Clinton, though she might have had a slight edge. He was much stronger in the second half of the debate, especially on Iraq.

Obama wins on The Iraq!

MSNBC calling this debate "Barack Obama's best debate performance".

That wouldn't exactly be hard.

I think it was his best one.  He really impressed me all night long.

lol
How would we keep our discussions sophisticated and knowledgable without you, Vander Blubb? Tongue
