Just one week from today, Saturday, February 9 we will have another 7 contests.

For the Democrats, there are 3 caucuses:

Louisiana
Nebraska
Washington State

For the Republicans, there are 3 caucuses and 1 primary:

Primary:
Louisiana

Caucuses:
Nebraska
Kansas
Washington State

Then, on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 there are 6 contests

The Democrats and Republicans have 3 primaries each:

Virginia
Maryland
District of Columbia

Any pre-Super Tuesday predictions on these post-Super Tuesday contests?  The Republican nomination will likely be over, but the Democrats will probably still be going on.

No polls have been published in Louisiana, Nebraska, or DC.

At some point in the race, voters began to rally about the candidate with the best chance of winning against the opponent.

After Tuesday, I'd expect that McCain is all but declared a winner.

If Obama wins some shares of states and is close to Hillary in others ( 55-45 so he gets a good share of delegates ), it seems like these are states he will do well in.  Now, if Hillary has a very strong day ( 60-40 wins ), then the democrats may start to rally around Hillary.

My take, Obama will be in 55-45 range and wins many of these states afterwards making it an even tighter race

Obviously, whatever happens next Saturday will be heavily influenced by what happens on Tuesday.  So it really only makes any sense to predict Feb. 9th if you have a very specific prediction for Feb. 5th.
