I predict there are about zero voters in Missouri who have the logic of "Well, I think I'll vote for Obama because he's from a big city in a state that borders me."

The era of regional politics in America is dead... except in a few cases in the South.

Obama won almost all the counties on the border with IL.

And he won a lot of counties that don't border Illinois.

Hillary will only give up after Obama wins in CA, dominates the remaining Feb. primaries and leads in OH and TX. If it's apparent Hillary will lose big on the old Super Tuesday, she will drop out.

If Obama doesn't split the delegates or better on Tuesday, I hope he'll drop out after March 4th.

1-4 don't make much sense. I agree with the "she really doesn't want to lose CA" argument and the "maxed out donors" arguments. NY and NJ should be easy wins for her.

The neighboring state argument only works in a few select cases: (1) when people live in small states near a major city and watch that city's TV (ie the tri-state), (2) areas directly along the border of the candidate's state where people can watch local TV and hear radio from that state, and (3) in the only 2 regions that still have a regionalist mentality, the South and New England, though New England displays 1 and 2 as well due to Boston and small state size.

You would think but polls are showing NJ a dead heat and NY is barely in the double digits now

I have yet to see one of hers here....not even on any of the news channels that run Huckabee and McCain ads even.

She's not running ads in the Potomac trio yet. She may not bother; Maryland and DC are foregone conclusions, so the money to be spent on Virginia, especially this far in advance, would be at least somewhat wasted.

I've seen Huckabee's a lot more than McCain's.

Same...and ive seen multiples types of Obama's ads....and one official ad he released just for Virginia acouple times.

Ive seen alot of Huckabee's abolish the IRS ads....and only saw McCains "im a true conservative....i was a footsoldier in the Reagan Revolution" ad once. Also, I saw Obamas superbowl slot...it was neat Smiley

I've seen many Obama national ads, several for Huckabee, and one for McCain and Paul. I also saw a Washington-specific Obama ad tonight telling people to caucus on the 9th Cheesy

The woman on the far left of the picture is Huma, Hillary's "lesbian lover." Hillary's counting on some last-minute Humagic to win big on Tuesday.

Yeah, she's probable ceding Kansas, Alaska and Colorado to Obama. However, I can't understand Missouri.

I can.  Missouri is close, for sure, but I think Obama will take it because of the "neighbor" influence.

She is sort of a neighbor too though. Arkansas is under it and she is from Illinois originally.

Arkansans may believe that Hillary is from there, but I don't think that anyone from Missouri thinks of her as an Arkansan.
