There is no basis for the claim that HUckabee voters prefer Romney to McCain. In fact, all the evidence points the other way.

Shouldn't the early returns be good for Huckabee? And isn't it a bad sign for him that it so far isn't`?

A poll a week back or so said that about 55% IIRC of Huckabee supporters supported McCain as their second choice.

The Fox News result ticker at the bottom of the screen is reporting McCain with less than 1% of the vote in Georgia.   Man, the conservative media really hates McCain, even it means denying objective reality.   LOL

Gap went down to 3% though and still less than 1% in unfortunatly. I really hope it can hold up though.

As a McCain/anti-Romney.I really like what I see from the county #'s so far.  I'm waiting for something in ATL metro to come in though.

The double-digit gap to Romney is what matters...

McCain doesn't even need to win Georgia since its a proportional state...just stay close to the other two...right?

Eh... it's barely proportional. It does CD, but by WTA, and then the winner of the state gets an extra 30 or something delegates, regardless of the margin.

Still, McCain may win no CDs despite being very close given the way they're designed.

Probably all good enough.  Romney took MA, where McCain has been trying.

Not a good night so far for Romney.

The lack of a New Jersey call is rather intriguing...

I'm glad Romney won Mass. Really, it was just mean (and extremely stupid) of McCain to try to "humiliate" Romney by campaigning full time in Mass.
