The Republican nominee may be uninspiring, but it's "his turn" at the nomination, since he's already in his 70s.  He tried unsuccessfully to get the nomination 8 years earlier, but lost out to George Bush. Now this Senator has basically secured the nomination. Congradulations, Senator Bob Dole John McCain, may you have fun losing in the 1996 2008 election.
