My friends, it seems like the region redrawing act has passed and Gustaf has shown his support for it. Now that the midwest region is redrawn, I believe PBrunsel, everyone's favorite historian, should be a candidate for Governor.

PBrunsel is a dedicated member who has worked his hardest to put people before politics. Now I have a campaign to run for Senate but that doesn't mean I cannot work to see such a great member elected Governor. If you believe PBrunsel should run, please make your feelings known. And I ask PBrunsel that he considers this option. It will be a great service to Atlasia.

So, in closing, all I have to say is...RUN PBRUNSEL RUN!

My greatest question is what will become of Reaganfan and his campaign that I have tied myself to?

He has been moved into Governor htlmdon's region. He will no longer be a candidate in the midwest so his campaign there is over. Will he run against Governor htmldon? I'm not sure. But now is the time for you to consider a run, PBrunsel.

I will think about running, though I said I would not.

If I did run would the good people of the Midwest think of me as a liar?

The reason why you didn't run was because Reaganfan was in the race. There is now no Republican candidate in the midwest. You're not a liar, PBrunsel and people don't think you are a liar. You're a respected member and will receive the same amount of respect as a candidate.

I will welcome any write-in votes for me, but an organized run I will have to think about.

My original plan was to run for Midwest Governor again. My run for Senate through that out of whack.

Now that I think about it, filing deadline has passed. However, maybe we can urge Fritz to push the date back since the region redrawing act was signed into law just two hours ago.

I encourage PBrunsel not to run as I've become rather comfortable in the Governor's Mansion Smiley

Just kidding Wink

Maybe PBrunsel doesn't want to run for governor because he's too busy planning his glorious run for President of Atlasia in the October elections Wink

The filing deadline in the Atlas Forum Constitution applies to federal offices only- i.e., Senator, President.  I do not believe the constitution for the Midwest Region specifies a filing deadline for announcing Governor candidacies.
