Leaked exit polls show more good news for Obama.

Any chance that we'll hear about Democrats Abroad today?

But, boy, does VA-09 look ugly. 71% for Clinton so far.

What's VA-09 like?

Appalachia, created specifically so as not to include Richmond.

It's made for Clinton, basically.

Huh? It's nowhere near Richmond.

VA-09 is southern West Virginia.

You meant Roanoke, I assume, but yeah. Alas, VA-09 is sort of like a miniature version of West Virginia. She still has 67% there with 30% of it in.

36% reporting

Obama 64.6%
Clinton 34.4%

I have no idea what just came in, but it loved itself some Obama.

I'm guessing it was a black area.  Don't expect 65% Obama to last.

On an un-related note, I hate how Virginia gives each city its own tiny county. It makes looking at maps difficult. Tongue

Yes, sorry, of course.

After absent-mindedly saying Lynchburg is in southwestern central Virginia the other day, I'm really losing my credibility here.  Wink

But what about DC? Wink I heard that Clinton has spent a lot of the last 15 years there.

Virginia is a hard state to call because it isn't segregated cleanly along county lines, but I wouldn't expect Obama's margin to be quite this high.

But it's hard to say.

An exit poll of DC Republicans probably just would've been asking everyone who voted.
