That's not quite what the article says

Edit: though now you've changed the title, this is no longer true.

For some reason, I thought he'd be endorsing Obama.

This thread will become funny if Edwards endorses Obama (Which he should)

Agreed (regardless of who he endorses).

The article says that Edwards' opinion of Obama began to sour before he left the race.  John Kerry endorsement anyone?

That article goes out of its way to turn a neutral story into a pro-Clinton story.

This is why it's important to read beyond the headline.

This guy desperately wants to be in the national spotlight. He is toying with this to draw attention to himself. If he does, however, endorse her then he will lose any respect I had for him.

He really should endorse Obama. The Clinton record on helping the poor isn't all it's cracked up to be, though maybe Hillary would depart from the "Third Way" once elected. But more importantly, the economic reform Edwards wants won't truly happen without political reform as well.

On the other hand, Obama is left on social, left on military, and vague on economics, so I don't see a sharp turn to the left in those matters.

Hillary's healthcare plan is more similar to Edwards's healthcare plan.  So is her energy policy.

What do you expect? Edwards is a pretty vain fellow and this could very well be Kerry related. His endorsement is completely meaningless now anyway either way.

He spent this entire time getting all buddy-buddy with Obama and is now considering endorsing Clinton?

If he actually does, I'm going to lose an awful lot of respect for him.

Edwards... wasnt that the guy who got 4% in Nevada?

Right now I'd be surprised if he backed anyone, he seems to think he's going to be the Al Gore of poverty but i doubt he has the stature to pull that off... to be honest i'm not sure where he goes from here, i think its most likley that he goes into academia or back into law.

Either way I think his political career is over, folks like Feingold and Brown are both in the Senate touching upon the issues Edwards wants to be associated with and both (as sitting Senators) are far more credible advocates for those causes than him. Its a shame as Edwards had considerable political talents, just not judgement.

This could hurt Edwards more than Obama.

And even without those states, Barack Obama still got the momentum and the most delegates.

Kinda sucks, doesn't it?

If Edwards was to endorse Hillary that would show that his whole "people v. status quo" campaign was BS.
