You could make the same joke about any former President's base.

Cult member to children's assembly: Our Dear Leader, Ronald Reagan, ended the cold war singlehandedly, cured the AIDS, stopped the evil air traffickers union, and helped invent the internets.

Kid to Cult member: But didn't Reagan also raise taxes, sign an amnesty bill, allow hundreds of Marines to die in Lebanon, ignore the Ozone hole, oversee disastrous drug wars in Central America, and initiate an arms deal with our sworn enemies in Tehran?

Cult member: Quiet, you.
Exactly. That discredits Vander Blubb's notion that Obama is some evil cult leader who has brainwashed nearly half of his party.

"This campaign so far has been very civil compared to what a GE campaign would be like..."

ORLY?

Entirely possible, sadly. Know what a dog whistle is?

Wow. This ad makes me embarrassed to be a younger person. Do people really believe that we find this crap to be cool and what not? That had to be the most ridiculously corny attempt at youth appeal I have ever seen. I thought I had seen the worst of the worst campaign ads when I saw Lieberman's sun set ad. I was mistaken.

I thought it was funny, but not particularly persuasive.

This actually almost looks exactly like something you'd see on a very bad episode of Saturday Night Live or Mad TV.

Didn't someone say the same thing about her Christmas ad?

That one was pretty bad, but I wouldn't have qualified it as worse than Dukakis's tank ad, Giuliani's Santa-and-9/11 ad that ran at the same, nor I'm sure plenty of other old campaign ads I've never seen. This one, however, takes the cake. If it ran on national television, she would be bleeding thousands of votes a minute.

I'll be honest. I thought it was funny, at least in a stupid sort of way.

To their credit, the acting was pretty good. I wonder how much Hillary's "bandmates" were payed.

The people who commented seemed to like it; it shows how uneducated many of the Hillary supporters are... and they think Obama doesn't focus enough on the issues...
