That's a little harsh my friend. Guns are a wonderful American tradition and bring many a family together. Just like drugs, guns should be handled responsibly, but I’d not favor the government to tell me if I was able to own one or not. Let's hope however, that the family learned a lesson here.

Especially given that horrible murder of that psychologist up in New York. Killed by a meat Cleaver. Should we now ban meat cleavers as well?

And Ottermax, I'm alright with some gun control. Not happy with it, since I dont think it curbs crime and I don't like the goverment telling me what I can and can't own but I'm willing to accept some slight gun control, as long as the states decide it. But when people like the Fuhrer play the "let's ban guns card" I feel I must defend them.

Well, he is a socialist and has some pretty leftist ideas on certain other issues.[I believe he's called for a 70 percent tax rate on the Wealthiest Americans] so I took him at his word. Don’t get me wrong, I have amazing respect for Xahar. He’s smarter at 13 then me at 19, in many ways. But I will confess to thinking he has a few kooky ideas. Hopefully he grows a bit more Libertarian with age. He’s already right on most of the social issues.
