Not sure what the problem here is. Do you expect them to just stand there silently? They were just encouraging him, as we was clearly feeling a bit under the weather at this point. It's not like they're worshiping his blowing of his nose, as the article would seem to imply.

You're right. They actually didn't go far enough. I would've liked to have that soiled Kleenex all to myself!

Yeah....your disgusting.

He is loved in exact proportion to the hatred of Bush and fascist america.  People's emotions are just aroused after living so shamefully for so long.

The love is irrational and hope-based, but the hatred is perfectly reasonable.

Yet, when Clinton's crowd claps when she drinks water after a coughing spurt...they are just engaging in good ole' political fun, right? I've about had it with this notion that any support shown towards Obama is somehow relative to actions of those in a political cult. I don't think poking fun at Obama and his supporters is going to change the fact that the conservative movement and GOP members in America are monumentally uninspired by their candidate.

It's quite intellectually dishonest of you to presume that people know of the incident to which you're referring, and then go on to accuse them of double standards based on that presumption.

Um, the point is that the matter you reported is basically about as relevant and interesting as "Obama seen breathing".
