Obviously it was sarcasm, but there is something to be said about the "cult" (lack of a better term) following that he has.  There's absolutely nothing wrong with supporters being excited about their candidate, but there are a few who seem to have crossed the "rational" boundary and entered into the idol worship phase.  Same thing happened with the Beatles at their peak of popularity.

If that's the case, the airline industry is in need of some revenue and will be more than willing to sell them tickets out of the country. 

Can't get rid of it by leaving it, only by changing it.

He is loved in exact proportion to the hatred of Bush and fascist america.  People's emotions are just aroused after living so shamefully for so long.

The love is irrational and hope-based, but the hatred is perfectly reasonable.
