Good news, though it is more likely that her margin will be half that -if she's lucky.

My prediction:

WASHINGTON GOVERNOR -
52% (D) Gregoire
45% (R) Rossi

WASHINGTON -
56% (D) Obama
42% (R) McCain

Gregoire is very lucky she has a Democratic Legislature to help her get things passed. Her productivity as Governor has kept her from being totally decimated because isn't she not that personally popular?

yeah, she has got alot done during her term and has led Washington in a good direction, and the public repects that. It still doesn't mean that they like her as a person, though they also would not like rossi as a person either (he is a bit like a used car salesman.)

Once the campaign starts getting attention (so far none yet) Rossi will be seen as a bit of a joke candidate who is trying again to win. He will probably focus on the fact that the Dems "stole" the election, but it will get tiring and people will probably just vote for Gregoire, or vote for a third party.

Yeah. She's got a lot done in her state, compared to a certain neighboring one(not to get too off-topic)

yeah, sorry Oregon isn't doing that well... My advice is to first fix the education funding problems.
