Nice.

Unfortunately, no exit polls for Republicans in Vermont.

Looking at the exit poll demographics, Vermont is such an awesome state. Grin

Yep, 62-37 is the "early" exit poll number.  Not surprised here.

So they were talking on MSNBC about if she manages to win 3 of the 4 tonight, what is more important? The news headlines....or the actual mathematics of the situation that she is still behind in delegates. What do you think?

+no surprises for Vermont.

Depends on which three states.

Interestingly, Obama did better among those making under $50,000 in Vermont than over.

60-38 among white Vermont Democrats, AKA Vermont Democrats.

Otherwise deeply boring.

One interesting thing is a higher percentage thought Clinton has a clear plan for the country, but voted for Obama anyway.

I just did that same math, and came up with the same thing.  We'll see if the exit polls hold up (early exit polls overestimated Obama in VT, after all...)

Vermont is WTA for McCain, so he gets all 17 delegates, and according to CNN.com is sitting at 1,064 delegates with only 127 needed to clinch the nomination.

Obama has 9 out of 15 pledged delegates for Vermont. If he can break 65%, he gets a 10th delegate.

The Super Tuesday Democratic thread was the fifth longest, ever. Can this thread break that mark?

Well. The early figures overestimated him relative to the figures released on close of poll. Slight difference.

If Clinton wins Rhode Island, but gets under 56.25%, she's probably looking at a net gain of only 1 delegate. Not very useful for her.

Oh, when I say percentages, I mean of the Clinton & Obama vote, it doesn't matter how many people waste their vote on the Gravelanch or whoever.

He probably will fall short of 65%. Oh well.

They can't have that many voters up there.  What's taking them so long?  Tongue

I think Vermont uses only paper ballots, so they take a while.

CNN still has their countdown thing up, so it didn't seem like it.

They're definitely not delaying exit polls until Steubensville is done Wink
