Sounds like Obama may narrowly carry Texas (according to MSNBC's exits anyway)

Well what I meant was that Cleveland is majority black.

IIRC Cleveland City isn't even a majority of Cuyahoga county anymore.

Correct, it only makes up 30-35% of it, down from 72% in 1940.

They arent counting votes until Sandusky[sp?] closes....or so they said on MSNBC.

Wouldn't they be counting votes, but not releasing them?

She doesn't have to drop out. The math isn't there for her. It is effectively over as of tonight without big wins in BOTH Ohio and Texas.

I may finally be able to dedicate my full support to McCain without worry. I'm optimistic.

Aren't there also a good amount of ethnics there (thinking Kucinich's CD).

Oui. Will be interesting to see how different the results are in the 10th and 11th CDs.
Yeah especially to see how Catholic and Orthodox ethnic Eastern Europeans vote, compared to those in MA.

Or Chicago actually. Some interesting patterns there didst go not noticed.
Yeah, because Obama was from Illinois. I should have paid attention to it but I forgot to....

sourceage?

I just heard it from Brokaw on TV. They tied among economic voters, Obama leads among Iraq voters and Clinton leads among healthcare voters.

How bad is it there?  Up here in Detroit, we're getting snow, but it's nothing a Michigander (or Ohian) isn't used to.

Sounds more like a narrow Clinton win to me, but it depends on how heavy the latter two categories went.

Here are the preliminary Ohio results as of 7: P.M. with <1% reporting (bold indicates my official call) (also, delegate totals are NOT final, and as of now are only the Winner Take All delegates for the whole state):

Democrats (too close to call):

Clinton 1,115 60%
Obama 697  38%
Republicans:

McCain 1,009 62% 31 delegates
Huckabee 426 26%
Paul 117 7%
Done Reporting,

Ranting Republican

Clinton will be lucky to be up 8 or 10 delegates from Ohio, Vermont, and Rhode Island. I think everyone knows that Obama will win Texas delegates by at least 10. Bye bye, Clinton.

Twenty six percent of voters voted on Iraq, 22% on health care.

It may come down to early votes, then.
