Supposedly a measure has passed in Brattleboro, Vermont which calls for the indictment of Bush and Cheney, meaning if they ever enter Brattleboro they are to be arrested. Awesome.

Right, because that wouldn't be treason.

Was it treason to launch articles of impeachment against Bill Clinton?

Moron.

No - but you can't arrest a President until he's been impeached.  The officers doing it would be in huge federal trouble.

Moron.

Some TX numbers in:

Obama: 58%
Clinton: 41%

Probably early votes

Weird, Texas numbers, but no exit poll (probably because of all of those early voters), and they're still voting in El Paso. Caucuses start in most of the state in 6 minutes.

It's not weird.  This is what always happens in states that vote in two timezones and close at different times.  The networks don't release exit polls or call the state until all polls have closed statewide, whereas, the state itself will release numbers in places where the polls have closed.

Interesting results from Texas....
It looks like a heavily Hispanic county in Texas voted for Clinton super narrowily.

No, she currently has a narrow lead in the county. It's barely in.
2% is pretty dang narrow.

Early numbers look good for Obama.

On the other hand, these are probably early voters.  Caveat emptor.  Clinton should improve.

Obama takes the lead in TX because of a flood of results in Austin.

Results in for VT in every county but Grand Isle, by Lake Champlain.

Obama 59, Clinton 39. Obama carrying every county but Essex, in the northeast.

McCain 70, Huckabee 16, Paul 7. McCain winning every county.

Obama leads in Austin and Fort Worth. More rural counties for Clinton. Red River County for Obama (OK border, near LA).

Heh, sounds like the President is just about the only case where you believe in innocence until proven guilt.

Anyway, if President Bush walked into my house and began blasting everyone with an AK-47, I'm fairly sure they could arrest the bastard without impeachment.

If the early voting holds up then the susa poll that had clinton up 50-48 in early voting is way off.

Plus, if they split election day voting as the early exits suggest then it might go to Obama by a good margin.

Looked it up, the county seat is nearly half black. County as a whole is 18%.

And I'll bet that's a majority of the Democrats.

Obama is winning in Dallas...
I think it might be over in Texas, if it keeps going this way in Houston, and if he makes it close in El Paso and San Antonio.

Jeff Davis County for Obama. The one non-heavily Hispanic border county. (And cue the irony.)

It would seem that 59% of those who said race was the most important factor voted for Clinton. Tongue
