Yes, just as I support a second investigation into the Kennedy assassination, if only to try and put the matter to rest. Personally, I believe there might have been a cover-up with the Kennedy assassination and the moon landing, but I don’t think that 9/11 was a conspiracy at all. I suppose we all have our limits.

I support a real investigation.  According to Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton, the CIA stonewalled the commission's investigation.  The agency destroyed tapes of interrogations when the leaders asked for the tapes.

Why that membership?

As I look at the membership, it probably isn't the best, but almost every single one of the Senators serve on Armed Services, Homeland Security, Foreign Relations, Oversight, or Intelligence, likewise for the House members, which I feel suits this type of an investigation.  Also, these are all members with respect among their peers, which would help with the final product.  Also, except for McCain, none of these members have any real Presidential ambitions, which will help keep the investigation out of the political realm.

Aren't you curious what happened?  CIA stories are usually pretty good.

The way I figure it, it's a win-win scenario. If nothing suspicious pops up when they re-investigate the strange parts, then the 911 Truthers will finally shut up. If something suspicious does pop up when they re-investigate, then we have a public distrustful of their government.

But the thousands of people that saw the plane fly into the building, are they all "in on it"?

Yes.

While we're at it, we should have a second Warren Commission. I cannot wait until 2017 Sad

Right, because these things are free!

We should also have them investigate the Moon landings, water dowsing, ghosts, Roswell and Big Foot.  It's all the same BS.

Despite costing money and time, especially with a congress that already wastes both?

How the hell can "yes" be winning more than 2:1 when nobody can explain WHY we need to do it again?  One of the most depressing things for me is knowing I'm going to have to live the rest of my life listening to you whack jobs.  Global Warming may or may not happen, the energy crisis may or may not come to pass.  The fresh water issues, terrorism, Yellowstone Caldera and an empty Social Security fund are all potential nightmares for us all, but none of them are as certain as you idiots bringing this sh**t up again and again for the next 60 years.  I shouldn't let it upset me, I shouldn't put that much thought into it (it's obvious you guys didn't), but it makes me so sad to see such willfull ignorance in the face of overwhelming evidence.

There are literally thousands of reasons to dislike and distrust this government and you people latch on to this?

Nothing I saw on TV implicated 'al Queda'.

I didn't say 'al Queda' did it.  That may very well be debateable.  But that's not what this thread is about, nor the part that most 9-11 conspiritards hold as important.

Yes, people seem to think the CIA would not use the airplane method.

Sure, along with that lets open investigations into who shot JFK and if we really did land on the moon.

I'm pretty sure bin Laden took responsibility for the events in a video.
