My upper middle class to rich mostly WASP precinct (with a sprinkling of Asians and the odd Jew), voted 117 for Obama and 104 for Clinton. McCain got 128, Romney 108, Giuliani 21, and Huckabee 16.

Batesville Ward 4

Clinton 81.3% (139)
Obama 16.9% (29)

Surprised you couldn't beat my parents' precinct.

I don't have the precinct numbers, but I suspect Clinton's numbers were on par with Phil's and Preston's. That Clinton polled nearly 30% in a majority black county, where an overwhelming majority of whites are Republican is astonishing to say the least.

For living in a semi-large, rural precinct (we had about 100 or so voters in our precinct for the caucus) I think we did fairly well on the Hillary Bashing, it ended up being something like:
Obama: 78%
Clinton: 22%

My precinct was 70-30 Obama...only 55-42 Obama in the primary, though.  Damn low turnout kind of ruined things there.

In 1972, I lived in a precinct that went 93% McGovern, 7% Nixon. I was in the 7% (I felt just so "special"). I don't live in that precinct anymore; it was the one just to the east of the one Obama votes in by the way. Smiley

My Ward was 64-36 for Hillary, but the other Ward that votes at my precinct was 80-20 Hillary.
