So, Wisconsin would be +8 more Democratic than the national average in an Obama vs. McCain election?

Well, it's good to hear that the upper Midwest is safe.

According to Rasmussonian logic, yes. If true, Obama would win Oregon by 16% in a 50-50 election ... Tongue

McCain has a much better shot here with Clinton as the Nominee, mainly because we have a highly active youth and a ton of independents

The primary results alone would be enough to indicate that Obama is far stronger here than Clinton (although I don't believe that McCain is really leading her by double digits).

To have Obama statistically tied with McCain (after 8 years of Bush, the war, and the economy!)  in states that are supposed to be reliably Democratic is not a position Democrats want to be in.

For all of you who ever thought this presidential election was going to be a Democratic cakewalk for Obama/Hillary are, to put it kindly, morons.

WI is going to be close again, McCain is a good fit for the state, and the Dems will need to figh for it.

Clinton is, I doubt, in that bad a state.
