New Poll: Pennsylvania President by Survey USA on 2008-03-31

Summary:
Clinton:
53%
Obama:
41%
Other:
0%
Undecided:
6%

Poll Source URL: Full Poll Details

Compared to an identical SurveyUSA poll released three weeks ago, Clinton is down two points and Obama is up five, with Clinton's previous 19-point lead cut to 12, the survey found.

The movement in support came almost entirely from men, according to the survey results. Clinton had led by five points but now trails by seven -- a 12-point swing to Obama.

The survey concluded that there is also movement to Obama from conservative and anti-abortion Democrats.

Clinton could now win by just 5-10, instead of 15%+. Encouraging for Obama.

And people said Clinton would do better in PA then Obama would in NC.

Pretty nice. While I don't think Obama will win the state, it's looking more and more likely that Hillary won't get the margins of victory necessary to present a compelling case to the superdelegates.

Interesting (especially as it isn't a one off). How long till the primary anyway?

And people said Clinton would do better in PA then Obama would in NC.

If there's one thing this primary season should have taught people here it's that it's a good idea to wait until the results are released before gloating Smiley

Of course, that observation still applies - just FYI.  Wink

Three weeks until PA primary.  Five weeks until NC/IN.

Clinton's shrinking lead has absolutely nothing to do with the Casey endorsement

LOL

That was a joke, right? The voters that Casey controls are solidly for Hillary. No way around it.

Can only hope this trend continues to the point Obama pulls out a win.

Hey, if the man can get almost 60% in Wisconsin, I think a narrow win in Pennsylvania to seal the deal is entirely possible.  Improbable, but the momentum seems to be back in his favor and there has been tons of coverage in the media of those wishing Hillary to bow out.
