New Poll: Arizona President by Other Source on 2008-08-04

Summary: D: 34%, R: 56%, U: 10%

McCain: 55%
Obama: 33%


The Grand Canyon State Poll was conducted by the Social Research Laboratory at Northern Arizona University. Calling took place from March 30 through April 8, 2008.

369 randomly-selected, likely voters in Arizona participated in the study. Study data is accurate within a +/- 5.1 percent margin of error, at a 95 percent confidence level.

My prediction:

ARIZONA PRESIDENT -
56% (R) McCain
42% (D) Obama


Obama's ceiling is probably coming within 10% of McCain in Arizona, who's popularity has declined in his homestate.

Horrible poll but the results look reasonable. I think McCain will perform worse than expected in Arizona though.
