I vote yes, unless he changes his endorsement to Obama which he appears to be on the fence of. But until he actually does so I support recalling him 100%.

You seriously need to learn how to at least conceal your ridiculous reasoning for things. Remember when you wanted to recall the Mayor of St. Paul, I believe, for endorsing Bush? You're a dope.

Anyway, yes, I support recalling Corzine and I don't think the guy really cares. He seems to be taking everything as a joke now anyway.

You mean the guy who got crushed in the next election with his opponent winning over 70% of the vote? Seems the vast majority of St. Paul was on my side.

Yay for voters deciding races based on issues directly relating to his service as Mayor.  Roll Eyes

Should I suddenly hate Rick Santorum because he called union boss (and likely soon to be State Senator) John "Johnny Doc" Dougherty his "favorite Democrat" while I despise Doc?

Recalls should only be used in cases of extreme corruption or incompetence, not because someone refuses to endorse your candidate.

I don't support the recall. First, getting 1.2 million signatures within three months not going to happen and isn't worth the effort.

Well, as long as you aren't bankrolling the effort, who cares? But clearly it's not going to happen.

It would appear that BRTD's rationale for supporting the recall effort is about as sound as the grammatical structure of the poll title.

No, Corzine should not be recalled.  New Jersey knew what they were getting when they elected him so they should deal with the consequences of their actions.

Same with Blago in Illinois.

Is this a serious thread? I assume it is given who the author is, but I'm not entirely sure.

I actually think we need to recall every single politician who does not support Obama.  Seriously, if you don't line up behind the Messiah now, you have no right to be a public official.

I assume you supported Bill's impeachment in 1998 too? Since he does support Hillary and all, and is thus clearly a Rethuglican like Nader.

BRTD, how can you seriously say these things?  If Corzine murdered 20 people, but endorsed Obama, would you support him then?  I mean really, this is no reason to recall someone.  If anything, he should be applauded for not going with the trend.

The 2008 presidential race was not an issue then.

The idea is to replace him with a pro-Obama superdelegate.

I think... that you need to get some perspective here. The primaries will be over in a few months, the election itself not so long after that.

No. It pains me to admit this, but I think he's doing the best that he can in an unfortunate situation. My esteem for him has actually gone up, given all the stuff he's having to deal with. I of course hope he loses reelection, if he seeks it, since I don't agree with much that he does. But from what I have seen he does seem to really be trying to solve the probelms in his state, and that counts for a lot with me.

Of all the reasons I can think of for wanting to recall Corzine, this has to be near the bottom of the list
