Now generally I've sided with the administration in cases like this, but I think this is just silly. A mohawk (especially that one) isn't a major distraction, or at least it wouldn't be if adults didn't make a big deal out of them like this. Now if the kid showed up one day with an 18" bright pink mohawk or an offensive Tshirt, but that's not what he did. Thoughts?
(full disclosure - my 6 year old has worn a mohawk to school a couple of times. Basically the same as the kid in the link.)
