Well these do suggest that Clinton is headed towards a fairly large victory.... but yeah... we already kind of knew that...

Fox is running a bunch of the numbers from the exit polls. It looks like Hillary absolutely clobbered him.

So Obama would, in fact, defeat McCain in the Democratic Primary. lol.

Commander in chief question is 68-29 Clinton.

That works out to Obama in the very low 30s, by my estimates.

As expected.

NBC calls WV for Clinton. "Anticipated margin of 2-1".

Clinton only beat Obama by 7% among Catholics. What's the matter with West Virginian Catholics?

What

Exit polls suggest that if Clinton is the nominee, 19% of her vote will vote for McCain; while if Obama is the nominee, 13% of his vote will vote for McCain

Remember WV is not so much home to the 'Reagan Democrat', it is home to the 'Bush Democrat'

Quite true. Mondale actually performed well in WV compared to most states.

Carter won the state in 1980.

Obama needs to get any closeted super delegates out soon.

OMG HE'S IN SERIOUS DANGER NOW

The lack of respect for West Virginians here by some so called "progressives", democrats and independents here is pretty maddening.
Yes. I know I was pissed off when Clinton called states like Idaho and Mississippi insignificant or not important or not real states. Let's not do the same, Obama supporters.

She never said they were insignificant, unimportant or "not real" states. This is a common strawman created by Obamites and it doesn't excuse the lack of respect for a real good state like WV.

What are some of the things you like about WV, other than the fact that it voted for the candidate you support? Just curious.

With 2% in, Edwards is at 7%.

"lol" is really the only justifiable thing to say to that.

Hey, he got 10% in OK (post drop out).

Here for state-level results. This page shows results by county, but is less user-friendly.

Thanks.

Although I always expected a blowout, I must admit that he did considerably worse than even I expected.
