NE should have 2, and Maine 1, but something got messed up.

From what I can tell, the formula used was something like

State EVs = ceiling[(State Population)/(US Population) x 100]

(for you non-math nerds out there, "ceiling" is a fancy word for "round up to the nearest whole number")

Anyways... interesting, Gore would still have lost the election by 3 EVs.

The current format is good.

I'm hoping Idaho and Wyoming pick up some more EVs in 2012, though. Tongue

I just took state populations in millions, and rounded them off. For example, MD has 5,600,000 people, which rounds up to 6.
