You wake up tomorrow and it's May 26, 1998.

Maybe, maybe not. I might not be able to be an elitist wake forest student if I went back 10 years, but I may have still been getting some errrrry night if I had done some things a little differently.

I would start over.  First of all, I didn't apply myself fully to my ACT test for college, so I didn't get as good of a score that I wanted and didn't get to the school I wanted.  Then, if I could, I would skip from May 2001 to December 2004.  In January 2005, I would have come back and finished up my bachelor's degree properly rather than bailing only to have to go back in August 2006 and go for a year rather than a semester.  That would have set me up a lot better than what I am now.

It really worries me that I am 26 years and 1 month old, and I still do not have a retirement account going.  At the current rate, I won't be able to get one started until I'm at least 27, and to put that in perspective, that's only 33 years away from age 60.  33 years is a long time, but not in retirement savings.  As of right now, I can't get started looking for a good career until at least late July this year because of my 5-week Atlanta job starting here in a week and a half.

There are certainly things I would've changed, but I'm just so anxious to get on with my life that I don't think I could deal with going back

I'd read a lot more. Start studying music theory earlier. Get into physical activity, like hiking. If I knew my future, I'd probably avoid some mistakes and try to enjoy life more. When you're in it, the whole thing seems so much more imposing, when it really ought to be enjoyed day by day.

ah, yes. Smart man. Betting 10 grand on the Giants winning the Super Bowl before the season would have made you rich in and of itself.

Well, I would double check the heart medication that my father was taking that was just recalled because the packaged it with a double dosage.  Failing that, I might have requested an autopsy.

September 2001...bet all the winnings off the Rams 99 bet on the Patriots after Bledsoe got hurt and Brady came in and them become a national hero by doing a citizens arrest on the 9/11 hijackers at the airport.

Eh, maybe if it was five years, but I was nine. That's a lot of school to go through that I really have no regrets about at all.

Why wouldn't I want to take a shot at reliving the past?

Losing that 100 pounds again would be a bitch, though.

If I woke up, and it was already 10 years ago, I would have no choice but to start over.  There are obviously some things I would do differently (choosing different stocks to invest since I know which ones will score big while others collapsed would be a starter).  But most of my life will remain the same.  The only major change I would probably make would be to court a young gal back then, but beyond that, I can't seen anything changing.

Tweed is basically correct. I'd make a lot of money betting.
