Maybe this belongs in the religion folder, I dunno.  But I wanted to post it.  Sometimes we all get so jaded about religion in general, Christianity, and so forth that we forget there are people of faith like this...

There was a similar story from 9/11 about a Muslim who refused to leave his Jewish friend and co-worker alone in a stairwell of the WTC.  The Jewish man was handicapped and couldn't be rescued for some reason. 

I know every religion has more than its share of turds.  But we can be grateful for the shining lights in each faith and denomination as well.
