Why was Phillip Seymour Hoffman representing the DNC?

(I've been waiting for like 15 minutes to get online to make that awful joke.  Appreciate it)

I know that David McDonald guy!  He's one of my grandfather's neighbors.  I knew he was a big lawyer but didn't know he was a DNC guy.

I thought the committee was more lopsided toward Clinton, like 13-8.

Alice Germond called Harold Ickes her "sometimes-good friend."  Hehe.

Why is it that all the Clinton call-in people have Russian accents?

I like how the chair just asked Ralph Dawson to differentiate between Obama getting 35.5 delegates  and delegate votes.  Just to make sure we're not chopping a pledged delegate in half or anything.

The motion passes 27-0

The Clinton catcall people are actually party officials?  Shame on them.

Michigan proposal:  Clinton 69 (34.5 votes), Obama 59 (29.5 votes).  This is a vehement Clinton woman proposing this.  May not be as bloody as Sam expects.

Apparently they negotiated and compromised on Michigan.  This isn't their first choice, but it appears to be what all the Clinton people are going with -- Dan Fowler (SC-Clinton) agrees.  Harold Ickes evidently disagrees.  Dan Fowler loves him anyway.

So, in the end, Florida may have been more controversial than Michigan.  Fancy that.

I'm really curious to find out what the hell these Clinton fanatics who want to take it to Denver are going to do when she drops out within the next week.

So Obama needs around 20-25 Superdelegates to endorse him between now and Tuesday night in order to get him over the mark. Can he do it?

It might be better to do it with Montana and South Dakota, contests he'll almost certainly win, I'd think.
