Just thought I'd ask directly, given the flak Dean has been getting from some on this forum...

Since everyone already knows about the old 'Targeted States' approach, I will instead only provide information on Howard Dean's 50-States Strategy.  From Wiki:

50-state strategy (normal)

Just look at MS-1 if you're not sure.

Dean is a great party leader.

The 50-State Strategy is superior for a party. The targeted-states approach is superior for a campaign.

My only critique of Dean is that I wish he could raise more money. Strategically I couldn't be happier.

Think of how the NDCC matches up with the NRCC.

The DCCC is thanks to Rahmbo and Chris Van Hollen, not Dean.  Likewise, the DSCC is thanks to Chuck Schumer, not Howard Dean.
