There was this breathless discussion of how Obama is now just 6 delegates short of the nomination, and then Wolf suddenly says, "we have a major announcement to make", and you get the big breaking news logo, and I figure they're about to say that a bunch of superdelegates have just endorsed Obama and he's over the finish line.....but the big breaking news is.......

OBAMA NOW ONLY NEEDS **5** DELEGATES TO WIN THE NOMINATION!!

It was hilarious that they were making such a big deal out of it going from 6 to 5.

Well, talking about small numbers, going from 6 to 5 is a big deal.  That's a 16.7% reduction.

Now, they are moving it to 4 delegates.

I'm guessing CNN calls the nomination for Obama at the time the polls close in SD, even if no more supers announce before that.  From the exit polls, they should be able to call the fact that he's got at least 4 delegates.
