3. Andrew Cuomo (2025-2029)

2025-1115985--Deth-Tron the Mutilator

Disguised as Samuel the Plumber's Assistant (maybe we should have a few President's with honorific titles before we elect this guy). This is probably the most frighteningly perceptive prediction made on this board.

I think it's fairly likely that the party who wins in 2012 will relinquish power in 2016. And since I'd rate 2012 a toss-up, I'll make two lists, naming the winners of 2012, 2016, and 2020.

44. Barack Obama (2009-2017)
45. Paul Ryan (2017-2021)
46. Andrew Cuomo (2021-)

44. Mitt Romney (2013-2017)
45. Andrew Cuomo (2017-2021)
46. Ted Cruz (2021-)

Three one-termers?

Three one-termers?

Yep. If we didn't have 9/11, or Gore won in 2000, it's possible we could be on our way to having three one-termers by 2012 (since the only thing Obama has going for him right now is his favorable rating and a mediocre opponent. If he had the personality of Gore or Kerry, he would not be leading right now), and it is highly likely that if either of those two scenarios occurred, the Obama's career would be set back.

For example:

Bush (2001-2005)
Kerry (2005-2009)
Romney (2009-2013)

Gore (2001-2005)
McCain (2005-2009)
Hillary (2009-2013)

It doesn't seem too implausible, though Hillary would have probably been a more effective president, her favorability rating would be awful compared to Obama's today, as it is only high because she is in a non-partisan position.
