So the other day I was saying how Vermont could be a likely pickup for Edwards, consdering it is an open primary with good demographics for Edwards.

Of course...its not so easy to win when you're not on the ballot .

Now, there are only 15 delegates available from Vermont, so its not a huge deal, but the extra momentum simply from winning states is still important to Edwards at this point.

Oh well, Kerry would win it anyway, it's a neighboring state of his.

Dean will probably still win it.  Remember, he didn't take his name off any ballots yet.

You can't win as a write in.

Brown got 30% in some state like Idaho in the 1976 primary with write-ins.

Bush did terribly in the democratic primary! Dean and Kerry each got more votes in the rep. primary than Bush got in the dem. primary, and turnout in the dem. primary was over three times larger. Edwards will probably get 25% in a write in vote.

I predict Howard Dean wins Vermont with 100% of the vote after he stands outside the polling station (and has men at others) screaming at people to vote for him and menacing at them with guns/fists
