I typically adopt more of an "innocent until proven guilty" approach to forum members... generally speaking, my opinion of people on here doesn't improve - because I start by thinking they're probably alright, and it can't really go up from there (unless I've previously 'downgraded' them...). I try not to judge on the basis of avatar, or PM score or anything other than the quality of the poster's comments.

I'd bet I'm guilty as hell, huh? Tongue

No - I like you. I don't tend to look for points of difference with people, and I'm sure we have one or two, but overall I think we probably agree on many issues and even if we didn't - I'm more interested in the quality of someone's justification for holding a policy position, rather than what their position actually is. So few things in the world are black and white - I can very heartily disagree with someone, while still respecting their opinion. I can certainly believe that they are totally, absolutely and utterly wrong, but that doesn't mean they haven't got a right to their own opinion... after all, if I disagree with them that vehemently, they believe me to be totally, absolutely and utterly wrong also.
