I sponsored it and the Gasoline bill, so that cannot be the issue.  Anyway, the legislation is still valid even if I am not still a senator as long as another senate does not come into power.

Not true. Legislation with no sponsor is dropped from the queue if no one picks it up within, IIRC, seven days. I believe it has been more than seven days since you left the Senate.

FWIW, I picked up the sponsorship of the Heroin Bill as of about 10 minutes ago, at the request of DWTL. He deserves a vote on his Bill.
