As ND goes, so goes SD -  or something. Some of this might have to do with the ethanol heist.

Definitely not in ND, which produces less corn than Pennsylvania or Tennessee, but maybe a bit in SD. Still, I doubt it moves a significant number of voters outside of Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska.

I actually agree with Walter, McCain will win SD and ND by at least 5%. But at the very least Obama will make some major inroads into those states and force McCain to spend money there.

I don't think I've ever seen this much fuss over 3 lousy electoral votes.

Seriously, I suppose it's OK to see this area of the country competitive again.

The state will still go to McCain, but maybe he (McCain) can make a few stops there. I wouldn´t mind it. Wink

North Dakota has a large population that is educated beyond high school which helps Obama and we could be seeing the same thing with South Dakota.  Or, maybe they change when others around their region begin to change (Montana)? It is not predicative whether or not this is just something temporary but if it isn't, people will make up their minds or have them already made up.
