Some think VP candidates should be attack dogs.

Question, therefore..........

Should the VP nominees for McCain and Obama be street fighters?

In other words, who can get in there and really duke it out and get down and rumble?

If so, who would be the best street fighter for each candidate?

Please discuss.

Obama should select Dalshim and McCain should go with M. Bison. Obviously.

So you want Obama to pick Webb and McCain to choose Ollie North?

What I mean is serious candidates for VP who could really get in there and mix it up, and take the fight on the road.

I mean political fight, not physical fight.

Yes, I think Ryu would be a great running mate for either.

Of course.  The VP is the attack dog position during the campaign.  I can't recall many here disagreeing with that.

OK, then who best for that role?

I'd love to see Vice President Kimbo Slice in talks with Iran.

Being a fighter is an advantage, probably a top ten potential advantage for a VP pick.

So, "should the VP pick be a street fighter" like Webb or Biden?  A cussin' guy who can get his hands dirty with the insults that need to be delivered by the higher-ups campaign that could cause backlash on the guy delivering them?  It'd be nice since traditionally the VP occupies an attacking role.

But, supposing that all prospective VP's will most likely have to be willing to fulfill this role (Edwards, according to Kerry insiders, backtracked on his initial promises to do this), are the differences between good street fighters and enthusiastic mediocre ons big enough to be the deciding factor in a VP selection?

I think other issues are more important.  This is like asking if the VP nominees "should" be good looking.

Based upon the current short lists (and not those not in play) - probably Biden and Romney.  I'd love to see those 2 duke it out more than any McCain Obama debate....lol

Now that would be a couple of candidates who wouldn't be afraid to mix it up.

It could happen.
