Say there 22nd Amendment is never passed, and Bill comes back in to win the nomination, facing McCain:

Democrats:
Fmr. President Bill Clinton (Arkansas)
Senator Barack Obama (Illinois)

Republicans:
Senator John McCain (Arizona)
Fmr. Governor Tom Ridge (Pennsylvania)

American hero McCain thrashes Sleaze Bill Redux Clinton.

Voters are sick and tired of the Clintons and send the Sleaze Bucket packing.

McCain/Ridge               345
Clinton/Obama             193

As a sidenote, the state of residence for Sleaze Bill for 2008 would be New York.

Oh, great commentary on your part.  What a comeback.  It must have taken you all day to come up with a line like lol.

No, sorry, the Sleaze does not get back in.  He'd be too busy in his relentless search for 20 year old bimbos.

That maps is one of the most dumb things I have ever seen in my life. Sh!ts have looked better than that. If you are going to make a map to bash Clinton at least have him win Arkansas and West Virginia...

Very sorry to have offended you and your scum bucket idol Bill.

Clinton abandoned Arkansas years ago for the big city in the northeast.

Clinton abandoned Arkansas years ago for the big city in the northeast.

And yet Bill and Hillary Clinton are still very popular figures in the Natural State. And I'm not surprised, afterall Clinton did do a lot of good for the people of Arkansas during his tenure as Governor. One can only look to Wikipedia for some of the answers, like this one for example:

Also, I would like to point out to you Winfield that if Hillary Clinton had indeed defeated Barack Obama for the 2008 Democratic Nomination that she would have comfortably carried Arkansas and their six Electoral College votes. Stick that up your pipe and smoke it! Tongue

Bill Clinton would crush McCain.  Despite Clinton's personal failings he was an effective President.  McCain is a sorry, angry old man who brings nothing at all new to Washington.  Even his running-mate who was supposed to be a Washington outsider has proven to be nothing more than a partisan politics hatchet woman.

I know there is no way in hell that Clinton would lose Arkansas. To be honest, I'm almost sure that I would be voting for Clinton, though I wish he would pick a different running mate.

I see there a real Clinton cult that has developed on this board.

Sorry, but your fantasies of the Sleaze making a comeback are just that, fantasies.

I don't like Clinton at all but it is simply delusional to act like he is not extremely popular across the country.

When President Clinton left the White House in January 2001, he did afterall leave the White House with his popularity rating of sixty-five percent, not to mention President Clinton is still quite popular amongst the American electorate despite his recent attacks on Senator Barack Obama.

McCain is doing well off of Obama's weakness than much of his own strength. Clinton is a known quantity and most Americans would go for him. I was tempted to give him TN as well.
