You really know how to Dole it out, however, I agree we should not assume anything Pryor to the announcement being made.  I only hope the announcement is made before the Snowe starts to fall.

The GOP pick should be a safety pick, so if McCain falls apart, he falls into a safety net of industrial-strength Kemp fiber.

We're Snowed under with rumors, trial balloons and speculation...so much so that reporters will ignore the stories about McCain owning seven Manchins.

The real Corker in all this is that Obama would consider Clinton, if only he could Tester first. As far as Kathleen Sebelius goes, you'd think someone would Warner about Obama's lack of Pryor executive experience.  It makes one Blanche with embarassment. Whatever Barack does, McCain will Hatch a plan that Harkins back to good old days-gone-Bayh. We won't know who it is no matter how hard we try to Reed the tea leaves and no matter how much we attempt to Wyden the field.

Inouye do I see McCain choosing to Dole out anything in the way of information that could help Obama or provide the media with anything other than a Burr under its saddle.  If only we had a Crist-al ball...

(Okay, okay -- I need to go to bed.  Hey -- bring Blagojevich into this and I will owe you a hearty cyber-handshake!)

Yep.  A majority are, I think.  Of course, it could be a Midwestern thing.  I am open to the possibility that folks on the right and left coast tend to be more receptive to things like books without pop ups and sections of the newspaper not covering NASCAR.

"Cuneiform" shares a common root with a very bad word, also starting with "C."

Hint: "Cuneiform" means "wedge-shaped."

Too bad Wellstone is a coleman.  With the challenging venturas this nation faces, we could really use someone like him, to be perfectly franken.

Apparently the media is just as good as us: (an article I found on Politico)

Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh volleyed questions from reporters as he and his wife headed for the tennis courts.
