I am still iffy regarding the merits of the war in Iraq

People are arguing about the reasons for the Iraqi war.
On what were not the reasons, there is a consensus (more or less):
The Iraqi war is not about terrorism.
This Iraqi war is not about weapons of mass destruction.
This Iraqi war is not about democracy in Iraq.

"The Iraqi war is not about terrorism."

Ummm . . . Iraq is, and has been, a part of the war on terrorism, despite the fact that you may not agree.  The case has already been made regarding the support Saddam provided for terrorism, both with Ansar al-Islam and Hamas.

"This Iraqi war is not about weapons of mass destruction."

We know Iraq has WMD's somewhere, or has sold them . . . since we were the ones who gave them to Iraq to begin with.  What has happened with the weapons is the big question, and the hunt will continue.  To discount WMD's just shows how uninformed (or partisan-blinded) you are regarding the issue.
