I like the Western Democratic populist, pro-gun rights, environmental, and progressive style.

Schweitzer's stock just went up dramatically in my book.

Schweitzer’s too folksy for me, but I can’t deny he’s an effective speaker.

Warner was really boring and uninspiring.

Strickland was really good and had some good one-liners.

Patrick was boring.

Schweitzer should have been the keynote speaker, he's doing great. He's firing up the crowd and attacking McCain. I'm very, very impressed.

And Brian Schweitzer just put some life into the convention.

I'd say he stole Mark Warner's thunder and then pulled a hurricane out of his ass.

Schweitzer has that charm that you really think he means what he says, he's effective. I loved him, kind of makes me wish Obama picked him.

I'm glad I was gone during Warner's speech, I guess.

It's stuff like this that really makes me hope that we've not seen the last of Hillary. For some irrational reason, I greatly admire her. Not sure if I’d vote for her, though.

Here's to Brian Schweitzer.  I have a soft spot for hell-raisin' prairie populists.  It's sincere and deep-seated.  I love those Plains and Rocky Mountain Democrats.

They played so many generic American women rock songs.  Too bad they missed the Guess Who, "Momma let me be" one.
