Maybe McCain is going to get a group of people together in Dayton, and the Convention can decide among them for who will get the VP slot.

How antique! Just like an election from the 1840s.

But I hope it is Palin. The GOP could use the "color."

And what's the lead story the day after Obama's acceptance speech?  The GOP Veep.  Smiley

I've been flipping between FOX News and CNN for the past hour and I've seen none of Obama's acceptance speech. For the McCain campaign, that is a brillant move.

You aren't trying hard enough. CNN and MSNBC don't even mention this VP headfake on their websites.

I was talking about television - not the web.

I don't own a TV, so I wouldn't know Smiley

I frankly didn't know that the old man could be this wily. But then again, he grew up during the Cold War.

My respect for him has increased 1/2 point.

And I owe an apology to J.J. CNN's website swept away all trace of Obama's speech and the DNC convention. I take it, this was a genuine shock for them to report.
