I had a friend honestly suggest to me today that John McCain should take Michael Phelps as his running mate

A Baltimore Republican?  Uhh...

Well, I shouldn't say that.  PiT is a San Francisco Republican, so I guess anything is possible.

Phelps would also do a significantly better job than several of the possibilities. Carly Fiorina and Joe Lieberman come to mind.

Huh, I'm really surprised at the 'not Pawlenty' reports.

Who could it be then? I still can't believe they'd pick Mittens.

Are reporters watching them like they were with Obama's shortlist?

They have to move eventually!

And as we all know, those that watch cable news on Friday morning are a very large and crucial demographic.

Front page of every newspaper in America has a big picture of Obama and Co. Don't get too excited guys Smiley

My sources tell me it's Brownback.

No, wait, Gingrich!

Quick, go buy Gingrich on Intrade! I'll send a cryptic e-mail to the AP claiming to be a McCain staffer!

Maybe they'll try to show how hip John McCain is by having her broadcast into Dayton through the tubes.
