I think McCain would survive replacing her and still win. I still give him an edge.

It is so important that the VP pick help not hurt the candidate. And this is not helping.

She should be out, immediately.

McCain could have survived her dropping out this week for "family reasons"(lord knows she has enough). What he can't survive is hoping for the best and having her implode three weeks from now. And the media scents blood as does the Obama campaign. Mr. Obama's statements to the contrary, have you ever seen Democrats so on message, and so on the attack?

If McCain drops Palin, he loses the election, plain and simple. That's why he won't do it.

Why are people questioning McCain's judgment?  Don't you all realize that for five-and-a-half years, he didn't even have the opportunity to choose a running mate?  He was in a prison cell.
