Hey Chris -- quick question --
I know beatification is the next step in the process toward sainthood. Are those who are beatified given a title? LOL -- Saint Elect?
Do some saints (small "s") simply remain beatified or do they lose that status if never achieving Sainthood (large "s")?
If you're too busy to respond, I understand. Maybe someone else knows. But I would rather get the information from someone who knows. Jack Chick isn't the most reliable source...LOL

They are labeled as "Blessed". And no, one Blessed always Blessed unless some evidence comes up that they were a horrible person. But not being made "Saint" isn't seen as a failure, as it were.
