President of the Senate? Do you mean Majority Leader?

Anyway, I think Frist is pretty good and he should stay as Majority leader. I'd also like to see Frist in another position in a few years: President of the United States Smiley

I'm not a huge fan. But I'm also not sure who should have the job.

I did support Frist at first (haha), but I was nonplussed by his handling of Bush's judicial appointments.

The Democrats need to replace Daschle and Pelosi. I don't like Frist much at all.

I got a feeling that Daschle's job will be open November 3rd.

He has zero accomplishments. It's not that I think he's a bad guy, I just think we need a real leader (Giuliani, for example, if he was a senator).

I think Frist is a good man, but he doesn't have the backbone for hardball politics.  Honestly, I think he's a weakling.

I say Hatch or Cochrane- the elder statesman approach. I tend to favor Thad because those old school Southern senators really do have flair- but Orrin would be nice because it boosts the amendment to democratize presidential elections.
