They are Fox News/Rasmussen polls.

I think if we are going to be sticklers about making sure that the Research 2000 tracking poll is attributed to the Daily Kos, we need to be a stickler about these latest polls being from Fox News.

We wouldn't want to be hypocrites, would we?

That's great! You finally realized you could make a thread for it instead of posting the same comment in every poll thread!

Now, the next step towards reasonableness would be to realize that you're being a hack and shut up about this nonsense.

LOL.

So it's not hackish to complain about being a stickler about Research 2000 tracking polls being labeled as belonging to Daily Kos, but it's hackish to complain about attributing these new polls to Fox News?

Fascinating how this comes up right after good Rasmussen numbers for McCain.  No hypocrisy there.  Roll Eyes

Or it comes up when Fox News starts sponsoring Rasmussen polls. Which is a relatively recent development.

Who publishes the poll has no real relevance. I don't recall there being any discussion about Research 2000's polls being labelled any specific way either. Fox news don't even have any sort of history of biasing their polls.

You're trying your best to be a hack, but not even you thought about this until now.

Tell that to those who whined incessantly about the new Research 2000 tracking poll.

I'm not kidding. Go look at the thread for proof. Especially today, when their tracking poll showed that Senator Obama took the lead.

Troll? ROFL.

There is a difference between a news source publishing a poll and a political organization ordering a poll.

Just because Fox has a couple biased shows (Hannity & Colmes, Bill O'Reilly), doesn't mean the polls they pay for are biased.

Now, there really isn't.

Both Daily Kos and Fox News are only mere publishers.

Look, I don't particularly mind DailyKos commissioning that poll. I haven't criticized that. So stop trying to use that, it's not a relevant argument. The point is that Rasmussen has been doing polls for quite some time. They will find different outlets for that polling. That is how it works. It doesn't necessarily change the fundamentals of the poll. Secondly, Fox does not have a history of producing biased polling. Now, find some evidence for your claims and report back.

All I want is for these polls to be labeled correctly.

These are Fox News/Rasmussen polls, and they should be labeled as such.

Besides, the Research2000 polls are not even labelled DailyKos. I didn't see you make a thread about that. Now, how is that for hypocritical?

And yes, you will need evidence that a) Rasmussen has changed their polling now that they're published by Fox News as compared to before when it wasn't and b) that Fox News have a history of biasing their polls. Or at least 1 of the 2. Then you could have a case.

If we're labeling R2k polls DailyKos for no reason, we might as well label Rasmussen polls sponsored by Fox as such.

Some are and some aren't.  But there's no evidence that the Rasmussen polls commissioned for Fox News are different from any other Rasmussen poll.

You mean, you don't want you DINOS to look bad?

Seriously, looking at your economic score, you aren't really a Democrat.

I really wish you fairweather "analysts" would crawl back into the hole that was 2005-most of 2007.
