Obama probably leads by 5%-10% here in NH. I never believed those other polls that showed the race as a dead heat.

WTF, why is Rasmussen so erratic in some of his state polling?

Well if Obama is up by 6% then NH is 4% more Democratic then the national avg, which seems right.

You mean having a 12 point swing from one poll to the next isn't erratic? C'mon now, use your brain.

Nope. Please pay attention, I'm only going to explain this once. When the last NH poll was taken, it was a tie between McCain and Obama in the National Rasmussen poll. However, when this poll was taken Obama was up by 7. Not so hard to fathom, is it now?

Well, two things: first, there was a pretty large national swing in Obama's favor since then and second, New Hampshire, for some reason, tends to swing somewhat erratically, more than the national average, regardless of the candidate. They're kind of the opposite of Nevada in that sense.

Its doubly bad in the senate poll.

Shaheen +10
Sununu +7
Shaheen +5 Now

That said I think the previous early September polls were outliers. I live up in NH part time, and I have seen little indication of a wild swing. A slow decay for Shaheen in the Senate race yes, but the Presidential race seems frozen about where it always was 41-43% McCain 48-49% Obama 10% or so undecided.

I find it hard to believe that NH and WA are polling the same, as Rassy would have us believe.
